The Foundation for Critical Thinking is pleased to announce Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group as co-publisher, and exclusive distributor, of the Thinker’s Guide Library. As of June 1st, R&L will be fulfilling all orders for these titles, and our bookstore will link to where you can place your orders.

Learn to infuse critical thinking throughout classroom discussion each day, how to assess your students' reasoning, and how to teach your students to assess their own thinking as they are learning - so that they become self-correcting learners. September 26-29 in Northwest Arkansas.

Redesign your instruction to incorporate critical thinking in every assignment and classroom activity,  every day; also learn to empower students to move beyond rote memorization so that they deeply internalize the content in your courses. October 10-13 in Northwest Arkansas.

We provide on-site as well as online professional development, helping educators bring critical thinking into the heart of their teaching and administrators instill it in the core of curricula. We also serve businesses, military, and government.

Fall 2019 Registration is Open Now!

Study under the guidance of a first-generation Paulian Scholar from the comfort of your home or office! Philosophy credits and Nursing CEU's are available.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with no grant funding or major benefactors, we need your help to keep the organization alive! We invite you to contribute to the global critical thinking movement - any amount helps!

Critical thinking is a desire to seek, patience to doubt, fondness to meditate, slowness to assert, readiness to consider, carefulness to dispose and set in order; and hatred for every kind of imposture.
